Hi..Finally i have finished my second assignment, this is my dreamweaver assignment' s first page..but i still know that there' s still got third assignment will coming soon...but nevermind, i 'like' it..haha...

Final of E-Wallpaper

Finally~i think this will be my final work for my E-Wallpaper assignment..Thanks to all my friends for the helping and comments~Thanks to Dr. Ken Neo and Madam Lydia too~^ ^ FOM rulez~~

90% of E-Wallpaper

This is the 90% of my E-Wallpaper..finally i have finished it. Please feel free to drop me some comments, Thanks alot..Btw, thanks to ah teh and isaac' s helping..haha

Process of E-Wallpaper

8)Lastly, i added the text box at the right upper side by using the rectangular tool and draw a square on it, then i inserted the text into the square box. i had ajusted the opacity to the maximum percentage to increase the transparency of the square box.

7)later on, i added the "Faculty of Management" into the wallpaper by using the same tools and added the mmu logo at the left upper side.

6)i added the E-bee image at the left bottom side by using the move tool to grab it into the wallpaper and using the outer glow, drop shadow, inner glow to make it more attractive.

5)Then i was added the "Open Day" and "21 March 2009" and i used outer glow to make the font more brighten.

4)This is the complete film strip that i had designed by using the same tools step by step.

3)Later on, i was using the Move tool to grab the picture into the film strip layer and using the scale and rotate transform to adjust the size of the image.

2)After that, i was download the brushes from the web site and i was using the film strip as part of my design. The film strip will be found in the brushes option.

1) First of all, i was using the sky picture as my background photo for my wallpaper, this picture was captured last time when i was in my flight trip. I was using Move tool to grab this picture to the background layer.

Project Objective
To explore self-design skill and take this opportunities to learn and master Adobe Photoshop CS2, This E-Wallpaper was purposely design for the Open day of Faculty of Management, Multimedia University (Cyberjaya Campus) dated 21th March 2009. This E-wallpaper used to promoting the courses that been offered by Multimedia University to the public and create the awareness among themself.

Approach

The landscape that i'm using for this E-Wallpaper will be 1024 x 768, this is consider my first time to having such designing and creating assignment, so all my ideas were actually just based on my own creativity..Ms Lydia mentioned this before to us, the first step for making things happen is always tough to begin with. So i have spent alot of time for thinking of the design and learning the tool to begin with, since i am not the FCM student, so i have no any experience before in doing this kind of assignment. My main point for this E-Wallpaper will be Open day for Faculty of Management, Multimedia University (Cyberjaya Campus) dated 21th March 2009, so i will place it as a main head line title at the upper center, this can directly tell the people that what we want to promote.

Then for the background layer, i will used the picture that i had captured last time when i am in the aeroplane, it is a nature sky picture and i am very like it, somemore the sky is blue and the cloud is white, so it is very suit the MMU colour which is blue and white. For the font colour, i will be using sliver colour to express the courses that been offered by MMU, this can create the contrast among background and font colours, i will place the courses title at the left and right side. Other than that, E-Bee and MMU are very important too, i will place the E-Bee at the center to express the our ambassador to the public, and it's can show multimedia professional feel to the public. Besides that, i will place MMU logo and the name MULTIMEDIA UNIVERSITY below the head title in this wallpaper. i will not waste the bottom spaces too in this E-Wallpaper, at the bottom side, i will place a few photos and make it like a photo film that representing our journey of study in our university life.....huuuuuuu~ thats my overall ideas for my E-Wallpaper, but it might have some changes during the process of doing it..hehe

Milestone

11-28 February
Brain storming about the design and finding picture from the yahoo and google search engine.

1-7 March
starting to using Adobe Photoshop CS2 to editing and creating the wallpaper, will learn the tools from the tutorials as well. brushes and layer searching will doing in this stage too.

8-11 March
starting to post my work proccess in my blog, will seek consultation from the lecturer and tutor accordingly and will post the 80% complete of E-Wallpaper work in my blog before 9th of March. another 20% will be the editing process that come from the comments of lecturer and tutor.

FINALLY~~Finish....hahahahahaha :p

Idea for Final Assignment~

Dear Madam Lydia,

After the discussion in our first meeting, we have already divided our Malaysia Cultural Heritage's assignment in several parts and i will be going to involved in famous hills places as my own part contribution in our final assignment, after some consideration, i had decided to take Penang hill, Fraser Hill and Mountain Kota Kinabalu as my target research and main resources. Below were some part of informations that i already prepared and i am going to delevop it in my web site..

Penang Hill (升旗山）

Also known as Bukit Bendera, Penang Hill is the highest peak on Pulau Pinang. At 830m above sea level, it is one of the best places to catch a bird's eye view of the island's expanse, including the panorama of George Town, the Penang Bridge and the Straits of Melaka.

Penang Hill is the first hill resort in Malaysia. Although it was originally called Flagstaff Hill, the locals have always affectionately referred to it as Bukit Bendera (Flag Hill). It got its name when a flag on Bel Retiro was used as a beacon for signaling to Fort Cornwallis at the north-eastern tip of Penang Island.
The highest point in Penang Hill is about 830 metres above sea level. The temperature on the hilltop is considerably cooler than the coast. Fraser’s Hill was discovered by a Louis James Fraser in the early 19th century, who himself mysteriously disappeared from the hill one day. Originally a coal mine, Fraser’s Hill has today become one of Malaysia’s most popular highland destinations. With a cooling countryside and rich natural heritage, Fraser’s Hill attracts golfers and bird-watchers from across the country. Historical, colonial-styled bungalows still scatter the landscape, many turned into resorts to accommodate guests for the weekend.

Kota Kinabalu (哥打吉那巴鲁）

Kota Kinabalu, formerly Jesselton, is the capital of Sabah state in Malaysia. It is also the capital of the West Coast Division of Sabah. The city is located on the northwest coast of Borneo facing the South China Sea. The Tunku Abdul Rahman National Park lies on one side and Mount Kinabalu, which gave the city its name, is nearby. Kota Kinabalu proper has a population of 543,765, while the larger urban area has an estimated population of 700,000. It is the largest urban centre in Sabah and the sixth largest in Malaysia. Kota Kinabalu is often known as K.K. within Malaysia and internationally. It is a major tourist destination and a popular gateway for travellers visiting Sabah and Borneo. Kinabalu National Park is located about 90 kilometres from the city and there are many tourist attractions in and around the city. Kota Kinabalu is also one of the major industrial and commercial centres of East Malaysia. Idea for E-Wallpaper

Hi everyone..Good day to all of u, actually i still don't have a complete and overall's idea for my E-Wallpaper assignment yet,erm...mayb my Idea will suddenly come out during my process in doing this assignment..erm..really hard to say, is depends on Idea's mood,mayb it will just come and visit you in the next minutes..haha,ok..for my E-wallpaper assignment, for sure..i would like to use blue and white colour as my theme colour,because this is the main symbol colour for MMU..and i would like to list down all the courses that will offered by MMU, because it is an essential sources for this creation of E-Wallpaper.

everyone before entering University sure will imagine about their convocation where they are wearing their costume and receiving their degree certificate from the Professor, so i will attach the picture where Tun Siti Hasmah pass the certificate to the graduates student in my E-Wallpaper. Besides that, i will attach some picture of each Faculty's surface in my design, because MMU has a very good design and attractive's building.It's too waste for me if i did not include the view of each Faculty in my E-Wallpaper..Finally,i will try to get some nice and meaningful's theme as my head title..All designs in my E-Wallpaper will be All Rights Reserved..hehe..all the best to Ah Teh, Ah Chai, Isaac, Jasmine, and Diyanah..
